Group reform!

Cambodidan Mathematics Generation was founded on October 2008 by gathering former outstanding students especially in Mathematics during high school education and choosing new generations who are willing to learn as well contribute to social development in the future. The purpose of this group establishment is mainly to contribute to development education sector in Cambodia by trying support students with advices, documents and trainings. Base on the concept of "people who know more help people who know less" meaning that all members have equal rights to give others advices or ideas to others depending on what they know.
It has been over one year of process with the first plan policy which focus on sharing knowledge via internet. Since this is our first experience also a try for us, we admit that there have been many problems during the period due to the business of most members; however, we also would like to offer thanks to all members and contributors who have contributed the the group. Actually, not only this one plan, our group still have many more plans to work. Therefore, since number of our active members is very limited which is one the major factor for the past slow progress, thus we decided to reform some of our group policies in order to strengthen and improve the group. At the same time, without your contributions, there might be still many difficulties for us to settle. Thus, we would like to ask for volunteers especially those who think you can contribute to the group during this 2nd plan with good knowledge of subjects or skills such as Mathematics, Computer, Webpage design, Literature, etc.

If you are interested in, we are planning to have a meeting with everyone on Sunday, 7th February 2010 (actual time and place will be confirmed later).

Objectives of the meeting are focusing on:

  • Vision of the group
  • Major plan for the 2nd year of the group (March 2010 to March 2011)
  • Arrangement for weekly meetings and activities
  • Selection of local active members
  • Group structure and duties and a few more points.

If anyone(don't have to be recent members) want to participate in the meeting, please inform us beforehand by sending us your full name, phone number, Email, Occupation, subjects or skills you may be able to contribute to the group, and available time to attend the meeting, to:
Email : group_cmg@yahoo.com or darareaksmeys@yahoo.com or sms to
Phone : +855 12 77 44 09

For oversea members who are interested in this reform, please kindly share us some ideas or suggestion for the new structure and policies of the group.

Thanks in advance to the contribution to education sector in Cambodia.
